From Australia, Peter Combe built a lengthy career as a musician for young listeners, moving more than 750,000 units across his CDs, cassettes, and videos. Seven of those albums reached gold status, two attained platinum, and three earned Aria awards in the Best Children’s Album category. With Songs from a Telephone Box, Combe shifted toward adult audiences for the first time, embracing a polished adult contemporary style that signaled this fresh phase of his work.
