Biography

Norteno vocalist Raquel launched her solo career after performing with local bands and Mariachis across Northern Mexico and Southern California. Two independent albums appeared from her during the mid-'90s, ahead of her 1997 signing to EMI Latin. Lo Mejor de Raquel served as her first release for the label.
