Biography
After her stint in the hard rock outfit Birtha throughout the 1970s, Rosemary Butler launched an independent recording career in 1984. Capitol Records issued her album Rose, a sleek set of melodic rock numbers and ballads aimed squarely at AOR outlets. Linda Ronstadt supplied backing vocals, yet the collection otherwise lacked standout qualities, prompting the label to forgo any contract renewal.
