Biography
Guitar virtuosos Richie Sambora and Orianthi Panagaris formed the hard rock power couple behind the collaborative project RSO. Sambora logged three decades as lead guitarist for stadium rock icons Bon Jovi while also building a successful solo career, whereas Australia-born Orianthi first drew widespread notice handling lead guitar for Michael Jackson’s This Is It tour, after which she pursued her own solo path and performed or recorded with artists that include Steven Tyler, Prince, Santana, Steve Vai, Alice Cooper, and Lacey Sturm. These adaptable players, equally at home moving between classic rock, blues, R&B, and country, adopted the RSO name in 2017 and issued their debut EP, Rise, through BMG Records.
