Biography
Prior to pursuing her individual endeavors, Sharleen Spiteri had already found acclaim as co-founder and frontwoman of the Scottish band Texas. Glasgow, Scotland, is where Spiteri launched her musical path in 1986, serving as lead singer and guitarist for Texas. She maintained her commitment to the group through the 1990s while also contributing vocals to albums by Gun and Rammstein. Once Texas issued Red Book in 2005, Spiteri started developing Melody, her debut solo album, which she co-produced alongside Bernard Butler. The recording appeared in 2008.
