Solar Twins

Solar Twins comprises the British-raised, Los Angeles-based pairing of David Norland on electronic instruments and Joanna Stevens on vocals. Norland, raised in West London, draws on a classical foundation, while Stevens brings her half-Burmese heritage. The pair first connected in England before relocating to Los Angeles, where appearances at the Viper Room secured them a deal with Maverick Records and led to the September 1999 release of their self-titled debut album.
