Biography
Formed in Nashville, the alternative CCM outfit Sonicflood featured lead vocalist Jeff Deyo alongside guitarists Dwayne Larring and Dana Weaver, bassist Rick Heil, keyboardist Jason Halbert, and drummer Aaron Blanton. After Gotee Records president Joey Elwood caught one of their club shows in March 1998, the group delivered its self-titled debut album later that year, which reached the top of the CHR charts on the strength of the single "I Want to Know You (In the Secret)." Sonicpraise arrived in fall 2000.
