Soraya Moraes

Born in São Paolo, Latin gospel artist Soraya Moraes launched her performing life as a member of Metanoya. After that ensemble issued its 1993 album Guerra, she transitioned to independent work. Pensado em Deus arrived as her debut solo recording in 1999 and was followed by four further solo albums across the early 2000s. Her sixth release, the 2004 album Deixa o Teu Rio Me Levar, captured a Latin Grammy for best Christian album in Portuguese and four Troféu Talento awards. Tudo é Possivel appeared the following year and was succeeded by Promessas in 2006.
