Biography
Among the assorted artistic identities embraced by Finnish multi-instrumentalist, producer, and rapper Pasi Siitonen, Stig Dogg serves as the Helsinki-based rapper whose catalog draws listeners through songs that satirize, more often than not, perennial favorites such as sex and partying. Under the additional alias Musha Basha, Siitonen produces and performs house and electronic music, while his hip-hop productions appear under the name Hullukoira (Mad Dog). The self-titled debut album Stig Dogg arrived in 2006 and achieved modest success by reaching the Finnish Top 40. Its 2007 successor, Stigidilaatio, issued on the Muumaa label, performed more strongly, entering the Top Ten and attaining a peak position of number eight.
