Biography
Susana Rinaldi, born Susana Natividad Rinaldi and active as both a singer and actress, launched her formal music studies in 1949 at the Argentinean National Conservatory. She enrolled in acting instruction in 1955, appeared on television for the first time two years afterward, and secured her initial stage role in 1959.
Also recognized by the name La Tana, she cut her debut album in 1966; bandoneonist Roberto Pansera handled the arrangements, and the independent Madrigal label issued the release locally. An acclaimed concert in Paris took place in 1976, prompting her to relocate her career base to France in 1989.
