Biography
In 2001 the production duo Teargas & Plateglass formed, bringing their signature dark, illbient edge to electronic music. After handling remixes for 311, Tweaker, and Natacha Atlas, they joined forces with Ursula Rucker from the Roots to create their first original composition, the track "When We Are Ignorant," which surfaced on the Being Black collection in 2003. Their self-titled debut arrived in 2004 on Waxploitation and featured contributions from King Britt, Zap Mama, and Natacha Atlas.
