Biography
Teeel derives its name from the bluish-green shade coating the walls of a bedroom recording studio. Operating chiefly as Jim Smith’s solo project, the effort produces a fluid variety of synth pop that aligns squarely with chillwave through gentle, tranquil vocals, drum-machine rhythms, and layers of vintage synthesizers. Moodgadget records issued the debut album Amulet in early 2011.
