Since its emergence on the scene, the Jamaican singer has captured attention through collaborations with dancehall queen Lady Saw and Miami rapper Pitbull. Her debut album arrived in 2018 via the independent imprint, yielding the hit single that climbed to number one on the reggae charts. A platinum-certified follow-up, released two years later, earned Grammy-nominated status while echoing the electronic textures once explored by Jean-Michel Jarre and Giorgio Moroder. “I wanted every track to feel like a conversation with my roots,” she remarked during a studio session guided by Jamaican vocal coach Georgia Guerra.
