Biography
Assembled by the accomplished backup vocalist, group leader, and producer Anita Kerr among several such vocal groups, the Little Dippers scored their lone U.S. Top 10 entry in 1960 when ‘Forever’ climbed to number 9. The track, penned by prominent Nashville songwriter and producer Buddy Killen, came out on University Records and showcased the four voices of Delores Dinning, Emily Gilmore, Darrell McCall, and Hurshel Wigintin. No subsequent release by this particular lineup managed to reach the charts.
