The Neverly Boys, a Los Angeles-based duo, craft wry and thought-provoking pop songs. Their initial notice came via the 2017 single "Burn, Hollywood," after which they issued their first album, Darkside of Everything, in 2020.

The pair formed that same year and unites Swedish-born singer/songwriter Daniel Ledinsky with established songwriter/producer Dave Sitek. Before their partnership, both had built reputations through separate endeavors. Sitek, long celebrated for his inventive contributions to TV on the Radio, issued a solo album in 2010 and handled production for Karen O, Foals, Weezer, and additional acts. Ledinsky, for his part, supplied material to Cee Lo Green, Rihanna, and Tove Lo, among others, while his politically charged 2019 track "DonaldTrumpMakesMeWannaSmokeCrack" spread widely online. Once united, the two began co-writing for external projects, including material for Blondie, Pussy Riot, and Sitek’s own TV on the Radio.

The 2017 release of “Burn, Hollywood, Burn”—subsequently shortened to “Burn, Hollywood”—started as an isolated collaboration, yet the pair kept composing together. An impromptu 2019 performance at L.A.’s Zebulon venue ultimately persuaded them to continue as a unit. In May 2020 they unveiled their debut full-length album, Darkside of Everything.
