Biography
Steve Eggers fronts The Nines on vocals and bass, supported by guitarist Sam Tallo and drummer Aaron Nielson. An independent cassette carrying the band’s name appeared in 1994, followed three years later by the full-length CD Wonderworld of Colorful. At the 1998 North by Northwest Conference the trio earned the title Best Unnamed Band. Universal then issued a self-titled EP in April 1999.
