Biography
The indie rock outfit Timesbold brings together Jason Merritt, Max Lichtenstein, and Dan Goebel. Hailing from Brooklyn, the trio first drew major overseas attention with the spring 2001 release of its debut single, "Sewn in Seams." Even stronger notice followed that fall when the Woe Be Gone EP arrived, opening the door to sold-out shows across Europe. Belgium and Holland saw the self-titled studio full-length in spring 2002, an album that went on to sell more than 2,500 copies. Stateside listeners finally gained access the next year after a distribution deal with Secretly Canadian secured the domestic release.
