Biography
Emerging as one of the more distinctive one-offs from the early 1970s, the duo brought together Irish multi-instrumentalist Jackie McAuley, the creator of several standout organ parts on Them's initial recordings, with Judy Dyble, who contributed vocals to Fairport Convention's debut album prior to her 1968 replacement by Sandy Denny. Their lone LP, Morning Way, offers agreeable yet somewhat precious British folk-rock carrying an Olde English fairy-tale air that should attract listeners drawn to the early output of both Donovan and Fairport. Judy Dyble died on July 12, 2020.
