Ulisses Rocha

Originating from Brazil, guitarist Ulisses Rocha established his reputation there through his roles not merely as a performer but equally as a composer, arranger, and teacher. Appearances at jazz festivals across Brazil, New York, Paris, and Canada mark his career, alongside multiple recordings such as the 1985 release Alguma Coisa A Ver Com O Silencio, Casamata, and Caminhos Cruzados from 1993, none of which reached U.S. markets. While maintaining tours throughout Brazil, Rocha achieved his American introduction via Moleque, an album issued by Malandro Records in 1998.
