Vincent Ingala, a skilled saxophonist, crafts soulful contemporary jazz and R&B with a warm touch. His career began in 2010 when he was seventeen, yielding several albums that reached the Top 30 on Billboard's Jazz Albums chart: Can't Stop Now in 2012, Coast to Coast in 2015, and Personal Touch in 2018, the last featuring the smooth jazz chart-topper "Snap, Crackle, Pop." Echoes of the Heart arrived in 2020 and Fire & Desire followed in 2021, each containing Ingala's renditions of material by Amy Grant and sax legend Houston Person.

Raised in Prospect, Connecticut, within a sizable Italian household, he absorbed his relatives' affinity for soul, jazz, and R&B. A prodigy, Ingala took up drums at age four and taught himself Elvis Presley numbers on guitar by third grade. By fifth grade, while also studying piano, he found his true focus in the tenor saxophone. Local performances soon drew notice from established musicians, among them smooth jazz star Dave Koz, who brought the sixteen-year-old Ingala onstage. The following year he issued his debut, North End Soul on 2010, then toured widely to cultivate a devoted following.

Can't Stop Now, his sophomore effort two years later, produced two Billboard Top Five singles and itself landed in the jazz Top 30. Inspired by his relocation to California, Coast to Coast came out in 2015 and peaked at number twelve on the same chart. The holiday release Christmas appeared in 2016. Personal Touch marked his Shanachie Records debut in 2018 and became his first Top Five jazz album; it contained "Snap, Crackle, Pop," which reached number one on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Songs chart. Echoes of the Heart, his second Shanachie project, arrived in 2020 with a cover of Amy Grant's '90s hit "Baby Baby." September 2021 brought Fire & Desire, which included "Disco Sax," his tribute to Houston Person's 1975 recording of the Jimmy Roach composition.
