Wayne Jones

Wayne Jones works as a pianist, composer, and producer whose credits span film and television scores alongside a catalog of instrumental, healing, and new age recordings. His solo releases include Sunset in Rio, while projects with his wife, pianist Amy Hayashi-Jones, encompass Afternoon in Tuscany.

Residing in Los Angeles, he completed a master’s degree in music at the University of Southern California and later taught there. Leading his own jazz trio, he has appeared with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. In addition to scoring for the screen, Jones has issued thematic instrumental sets such as Sunset in Rio and Afternoon in Napa: Relaxing Jazz. He also partners with Amy Hayashi-Jones on albums including Moonlight in Paris, Relaxing Greek Islands, and Afternoon in Tuscany, the last of which reached the TikTok Top 50.
