Biography
Originating in Tokyo, Japan, the electronic duo 800 Cherries radiates an untainted pop simplicity they call "futurepop." Drawing on touchstones that include Lush, Stereolab, and the Free Design, the two members Manami Marufuji and Masayuki Takahashi independently issued their first full-length Release Romantico in 1999.
