Biography
Alih Jey, the singer and songwriter born to Dominican artists Aníbal de Peña and Alida Iluminada Jiménez, initiated her songwriting efforts at age 14 by penning verses inspired by her individual encounters. At 17 she secured a recording agreement with the Latin division of Universal Music. Her self-titled bilingual debut album appeared in 2001 and spotlighted the hit single "It's O.K."
