Biography
American Babies, a roots rock ensemble, primarily highlights the compositional talents of Tom Hamilton, the Philadelphia-rooted vocalist and guitarist previously associated with Brothers Past. The band's initial lineup featured Hamilton's sibling Jim Hamilton handling bass duties alongside drummer Joe Russo, with guitarist Scott Metzger joining subsequently. Establishing a regional audience across the Northeast and Midwest—highlighted by a performance at the Bonnaroo Festival—the group issued its debut self-titled record via SCI Fidelity Records on April 1, 2008.
