Biography
Drawing from events at the wealthy De La Fayette family's stables, the Flemish children's series Amika expanded into pop music via the musical specials Amika en Het Magische Zadel and Dagdromen plus two studio albums. The lead vocals belonged to Moora Vander Veken (Merel De Ridder) and Niels Destadsbader (Oliver), and both 2009's Amika and 2010's Amika en Ik entered the Flemish Top 20, as did the singles "Amika" and "Het Is Zomer."
