Arielle Dombasle

Arielle Sonnery de Fromental entered the world in Norwich, Connecticut, yet Dombasle passed the greater share of her formative years in Mexico because her grandfather held the post of French Ambassador. Her subsequent move to France for studies placed her striking appearance and evident abilities on an accelerated path into motion pictures. By 2004 the already prominent and widely admired French screen and television presence, who had also launched a singing career while married to liberal philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy, released the covers album Amor Amor, which reached American listeners two years later.
