Biography
Formed in Los Angeles, the neo-psychedelic quartet Baby Lemonade issued its debut release in 1994: the six-song Wonderful EP on the Sympathy for the Record Industry label. Once that EP appeared, singer/guitarist Rusty Squeezebox, guitarist Mike Randle, bassist Dave Chapple and drummer David “Daddy-O” Green joined Arthur Lee for a tour with his reunited version of the band Love. Although the outing sparked widespread interest from major labels, Baby Lemonade ultimately stayed with Sympathy and delivered the full-length 68% Pure Imagination there in 1996. Two years afterward the group moved to Big Deal for its first album on that imprint, Exploring Music, before issuing High Life Suite in mid-2000.
