Biography
Bárbara Bandeira emerged as a teenage Portuguese pop vocalist whose upbringing placed her in constant proximity to musicians, owing to her status as the daughter of Rui Bandeira, a vocalist, composer, and performer. She first reached television audiences at age 12 by taking part in the fourth and final season of the Portuguese singing competition series Uma Canção Para Ti. The following year she became the focal point of the audition process for the first season of The Voice Kids, where Anselmo Ralph acted as her mentor and steered her into the finals.
Bandeira dedicated the next two years to live performances and online promotion of her abilities. Vidisco issued her debut single video, “Crazy,” which in turn earned her a deal with Lemon. In fall 2016, at age 16, she delivered her first single and video for the new label, “Es Tu.”
