Biography
Hailing from London, Beaty Heart delivers an eclectic sound laced with neo-psych and driven by pronounced world-music and electronic-pop influences. The group formed at Goldsmith College in 2010 and centers on percussionists and multi-instrumentalists Josh Mitchell (vocals, guitars, electronics), Charlie Rotberg (drums, electronics), and James Moruzzi (drums, vocals, electronics). What began as an audio-visual art collective later transformed into a committed pop ensemble. Their debut full-length album, Mixed Blessings, surfaced in 2014 on Caroline. In 2016 the band resurfaced with the follow-up Till the Tomb, highlighted by the single "Soft Like Clay."
