Italian musician Maurizio Belladonna, whose name echoes that of the striking toxic bloom valued for its healing properties, operates as both a DJ and a producer. His textured productions fuse classic Latin rhythms, breaks, and house grooves with instrumental passages and diva vocal fragments to shape his distinct artistic identity. The year 1999 marked the release of his debut solo album, Housin Paradise, on the worldwide label Irma Group. A year after that arrived Midnight House, whose range extended from acid jazz to breakbeat and more mainstream club sounds.
