Ben Davis

Recognition for Ben Davis stems from his roles across multiple standout indie outfits, above all the storied Sleepytime Trio and the formative recordings by Jade Tree signees Milemarker. Fatherhood led him to exit Milemarker, prompting a shift toward more measured and tuneful compositions built primarily around piano. Companions gradually supplied supporting parts to these foundations, and the material coalesced into a complete endeavor that yielded his debut full-length, The Hushed Patterns of Relief. Six producers and sixteen further musicians drawn from across North America contributed to his follow-up. Aided & Abetted reached listeners in fall 2003.
