Biography
In 1995, Cleveland natives Scott Silvermen on guitar, Mike Peffer on drums, and Ray Piller on bass assembled Biblical Proof of UFOs after amassing every Am Rep. Records release, intending simply to produce local racket. The trio, operating without a vocalist under the shorthand BPOUFOs, launched live appearances in 1996 and soon earned slots alongside Unsane, Wayne Kramer, Cash Money, Blonde Redhead, and Today Is The Day, after which they issued their debut EP, Vishnu Were Here.
