Biography
In 2010, while the Killers paused their activities, drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. launched Big Talk to find an outlet for his original material. Guitarist Taylor Milne, a former Expert on October colleague, joined the effort, allowing the project to probe Vannucci's post-punk roots through a pounding, theatrical sound that stirs feeling yet urges crowds onto the dancefloor. Producer Joe Chicarelli, previously associated with the Strokes and Minus the Bear, helped the duo track and issue their debut, the self-titled Big Talk, in summer 2011.
