Biography
Formed in Fort Worth, Texas, during the early 1970s, the hard rock outfit Bloodrock had singer and drummer Jim Rutledge at the helm for their debut album. Between 1970 and 1972, the group placed six LPs on the charts, including a Top 40 success with the grim track "D.O.A.," which appeared on the gold-certified Bloodrock 2, their sophomore effort.
