Born and raised in Boston, standup comic and spoken word performer Bobby Gaylor balanced his role as guitarist in various unsuccessful local bands against menial employment such as gravedigging and pizza delivery. In the early '90s he relocated to L.A., where he contributed as a writer to the sitcom Roseanne and made appearances in television programs and minor films prior to choosing to accompany his standup routine with music. Teaming up with his friends composer/guitarist Marc Bonilla and musician/engineer Michael Scott, he produced the spoken word/rock debut album Fuzzatonic Scream, which included the uplifting unexpected hit single "Suicide." Atlantic Records issued both in early 2000.
