With an appealing grin and trendy tousled locks, Bobby Sherman emerged as a true teen sensation in the closing years of the 1960s and the opening of the 1970s. His initial exposure came via regular appearances on the ABC-TV mid-decade musical extravaganza Shindig!, followed by a supporting role in the heartfelt series Here Come the Brides. As a singer, he dominated the popular music rankings during 1969 and 1970 via the skillfully crafted tracks "Little Woman," "La La La (If I Had You)," "Easy Come, Easy Go," and "Julie, Do Ya Love Me," each recognized as a million-selling release on Metromedia. Chart success ceased suddenly by 1972, yet Sherman persisted in the industry, focusing primarily on off-camera contributions to television productions.
