Biography
In 1984 Brett Williams, serving as vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter, teamed with drummer Vince Grant to launch a group that first appeared as the Reach, later became In Reach, and eventually took the name Brett Williams and In Reach, sustaining a lengthy and fruitful run in Christian music. Following the In Reach album Power and Promise, Williams stepped away in 1994 to concentrate more fully on the solo acoustic singer-songwriter path. He issued the independent recording Curio in 1995 and soon afterward joined the Absolute label, which released Seven Days of Light in 1996.
