Biography
N. Shineywater and R. Hughes composed the music for BrightBlack Morning Light. The band undertook numerous tours across the United States along with performances in San Francisco. Rolling Stone placed their album Brightblack Morning Light on its list of Top 50 Albums of 2006. Invitations to several festivals followed, among them the U.K. edition of All Tomorrow's Parties curated by Slint. Motion to Rejoin appeared in 2008. BrightBlack Morning Light delivered its final live performance in 2009. Shineywater later developed the Library of Sands project on the Wild Sages label, the same imprint that issued the posthumous digital BBML collection Live Journal One: Instrumentals 2006 & 2008.
