Costanza

The trip-hop musician from Italy known as Costanza, whose complete name is Costanza Francavilla, initiated her path in music through the establishment of the group Etnia, where she handled guitar duties and songwriting. Following the band's dissolution in 1998, she relocated to London, where she pursued independent work while exploring electronica. One of her demos reached Adrian Thaws, widely recognized as Tricky, in 2001, prompting him to reach out regarding a potential collaboration after he expressed strong interest. Their partnership commenced in 2002, leading Costanza to contribute to Tricky's Vulnerable, which appeared in 2003. Subsequent performances at European festivals paved the way for the 2005 release of her Zerokilled EP. Shortly thereafter she took up residence in Brooklyn and began developing material for a full-length album.
