Biography
Hailing from Springfield, Missouri, Wayne delivers unadorned honky-tonk whose plain-spoken, realistic tone ruled out any prospect of Nashville marketing. The 2000 HMG/HighTone album Big Thinkin' was co-produced by Robbie Fulks, who also played acoustic guitar and sang harmony vocals, with instrumental backing supplied by members of the Springfield band the Skeletons. Spring 2001 saw the release of his second album, Invisible Man.
