Delta 9

Delta 9 serves as the performing name for Dave Rodgers from Chicago, recognized as one of the toughest acts within the hardcore techno and industrial scene. His sound draws from thrash and industrial roots alongside electronic dance genres such as electro and gabba. Rodgers entered the music world through multiple singles issued on Drop Bass and Industrial Strength between 1995 and 1996. He contributed to the Industrial Fucking Strength compilation, which led to a recording deal with Earache, a grindcore imprint shifting toward techno sounds. The debut full-length Disco Inferno came first, succeeded by Alpha Decay toward the end of 1997. In the following year, VC Mix CD, Vol. 1 appeared via Vinyl Communications. The album Revolution 909 arrived during the middle of 2000.
