Noisia

Formed in 2002 in Groningen, the Dutch drum'n'bass trio Noisia features producers Martijn van Sonderen, Nik Roos, and Thijs de Vlieger. Although best recognized for drum'n'bass, the acclaimed group also explores breaks and house. Their first appearance on record came in 2003 through the Silicon/Tomahawk 12" issued by Nerve Recordings. Numerous follow-up tracks then surfaced on drum'n'bass labels such as Moving Shadow, Ram Records, Virus Recordings, and Renegade Hardware. The members additionally launched their own imprints, Vision Recordings and Division Recordings. In 2008 they delivered Fabriclive.40, a stylistically diverse installment in the long-running mix album series. Their debut album Split the Atom arrived in 2010, and in 2011 they created the soundtrack for the video game MotorStorm: Apocalypse.
