Dionysus

Dionysus stands as a power metal band blending Swedish and German influences, boasting vocalist Olaf Hayer, whose collaborations include Rhapsody's guitarist Luca Turilli, along with percussionist Ronny Milianowicz formerly of Sinergy, axeman Johnny Ohlin, bassist Nobby—both of the latter pair hailing from Nation—and keysman Kaspar Dahlqvist. The ensemble coalesced slowly across three years before inking a deal with AFM Records, which led to the issuance of their 2002 album Sign of Truth followed by Anima Mundi in 2004.
