Biography
During the closing years of the 1990s, DJ Godfather developed the skill to blend electro, hip-hop, and booty sounds—genres that typically conflicted—within single performances, creating rapidly blended mixtures dominated by heavy bass lines. Beyond his reputation as an innovative turntablist who avoided standard methods, he also produced an extensive body of recordings for the Twilight 76 imprint along with its offshoot Databass, both of which reflected his broad appreciation for bass-oriented music.
