DKE Author

Hailing from Belle Glade, Florida, rapper DKE Author put out multiple tracks before attracting wider notice through the gradual build of his single “That Guy.” Delivering the track with understated assurance, he steadily drew fresh listeners once local stations and prominent national digital platforms devoted to rap and hip-hop began championing the song.

Affiliated with the Dark Knight Empire roster, the Southern Florida rapper launched his online output in 2017. His earliest posting was the audio for “Insecure,” a track exploring a troubled relationship, followed in early 2018 by a video for “I’m on a Roll.” The summer 2018 arrival of “That Guy” allowed the song to accumulate momentum throughout the ensuing year, with local radio airplay prompting coverage from World Star Hip Hop. DKE Author performed live dates, expanded his audience, and continued developing material for future releases.
