Dommin

Kristofer Dommin records and performs under the single name Dommin. An enigmatic vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist raised in Los Angeles, he crafts music that fuses steely goth rock, rockabilly, and darkly romantic Americana laced with emo inflections. He first drew notice as frontman of the goth-metal band that shared his mononym. From 2006 through 2020 that group issued multiple singles, EPs, and full-length releases—among them Love Is Gone in 2010, Rise in 2015, and Beautiful Crutch in 2016—while appearing live alongside H.I.M., Lacuna Coil, the Birthday Massacre, Black Veil Brides, 69 Eyes, and Wednesday 13. In 2020 Dommin moved to Brisbane, Australia, and shifted his focus to solo work. Two years afterward he joined forces with the local trio the Oztones to issue the album Dommin & the Oztones, a broad survey of blues, country, rockabilly, and brooding Americana.
