Biography
Formed in Austin, the garage punk group Drakulas draws its lineup from veterans of Riverboat Gamblers and Rise Against. Riverboat Gamblers members Mike Wiebe on vocals and Rob Marchant on bass joined forces with Zach Blair, the guitarist from Rise Against, for the 2015 release of the band's debut EP OWOWOWOWOWOWOW via Red Scare. Drakulas issued their first full-length album, the conceptual Raw Wave, on Dirtnap Records the year after, recounting stories from residents of a made-up urban center placed in the not-so-distant past.
