Fly My Pretties

Barnaby Weir of the Black Seeds directs Fly My Pretties, a nearly twenty-member collective based in Wellington, New Zealand. The ensemble tours widely across its home country and issues occasional recordings drawn from its staged productions. Its style fuses roots rock, reggae, folk, and soul while integrating live movement and projected visuals into each show. Live at Bats, issued in 2004, attained gold certification in New Zealand and was succeeded in 2006 by The Return of Fly My Pretties.
