Formed in Bristol, England, during the latter part of 2004, the experimental duo Fuck Buttons comprises Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power. After signing with the ATP label, they issued the 7-inch single "Bright Tomorrow" b/w "Little Bloody Shoulder" in fall 2007, then played a series of live dates across England alongside Liars, Stars of the Lid, and Deerhunter. Their debut album, Street Horrrsing, appeared in 2008 with production by Mogwai's John Cummings. For the follow-up, Tarot Sport, the duo recruited Two Lone Swordsmen's Andrew Weatherall as producer, steering the project toward a blissful, more overtly electronic sound. The track "Olympians" from that album was featured in the 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony, joined by "Sundowner" from Benjamin John Power's solo project Blanck Mass. Hung and Power self-produced their expansive third album, Slow Focus, which arrived in July 2013.
