Biography
Among the multiple lo-fi projects led by vocalist, keyboardist, and songwriter Stephin Merritt are the Future Bible Heroes, alongside Magnetic Fields, Gothic Archies, and the 6ths. Songwriting and production input from Chris Ewen shaped the 1997 release Memories of Love, which also included co-lead vocals from longtime Merritt collaborator Claudia Gonson; she supplied every vocal on the 2002 album Eternal Youth. Merritt, Ewen, and Gonson issued their third Future Bible Heroes effort in 2013, the Merge-released Partygoing. The same year brought the remastered box set Memories of Love, Eternal Youth, and Partygoing, encompassing every album and EP from the group.
